Los Angeles World Airports has partnered with the Transportation Security Administration to pilot two new security checkpoint technologies at Los Angeles International Airport.
The Gemalto high-speed passport readers will provide fast and accurate authentication of travel documents, resulting in improved queue times and strengthened security.
Passengers will have dedicated security access, departure gates will be located nearby, and so-called “racetracks” will provide shorter boarding times.
