REDEFINING THE END-TO-END PASSENGER EXPERIENCE AND BUSINESS PERFORMANCE
IATA has announced a string of airport trials, which will give passengers new ways to check-in. With an emphasis on baggage self-tagging, mobile check-in and common use kiosks, the ‘fast travel’ initiative is expected to benefit both the industry and passengers. Louise Driscoll reports.

The CUPPS (Common Use Passenger Processing Systems) initiative is moving into a very important stage, in which it will be fully tested in ‘live’ operation.
