SITA and ACI have released the 2013 Airport IT Trends Survey, which shows that 95% of airports plan to invest in apps, while 80% will invest in self-tagging and bag drop.
IATA and the Near Field Communication Forum have jointly published a reference guide for air travel stakeholders outlining the potential benefits of adopting NFC technology.
