Heathrow relaunches Fast Track Security offering for “a premium security experience” and reduced queues

Heathrow Airport has relaunched its Fast Track Security offering in time for the busy summer season, offering “a premium security experience, cutting down queue times, and getting journeys off to smooth starts”.

Heathrow Airport has announced the relaunch of its Fast Track Security offering in time for what is expected to be its busiest summer ever, with the airport preparing to welcome over 30 million passengers between June and September this year.

Since 1 June 2024, departing passengers can use the service daily between 06:00 and 22:00 across all Heathrow terminals, enabling a swift start to journeys and giving passengers more time to shop, dine and relax ahead of their flights.

Costing £12.50 per person, Fast Track enables passengers to select a one-hour window to pass through security and gives them right up until midday on the day before travel to reserve. Fast Track continues to be automatically included for those with a business first Heathrow Express ticket, or for eligible frequent flyer card holders or passengers travelling in premium cabins.

“We’re thrilled to bring back our Fast Track Security booking service for all passengers ahead of the summer getaway,” said Ross Baker, Chief Customer Officer, Heathrow Airport. “Fast Track offers a premium security experience, cutting down queue times, getting journeys off to smooth starts and giving passengers extra peace of mind ahead of their trips.”
