Munich Airport’s LabCampus is to welcome Exotec – a pioneer in scalable robotics systems – which is establishing its new headquarters at the innovation hub. It strengthens LabCampus’ position as an innovation campus in areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), new mobility, and tech expertise.

Exotec not only brings a great deal of software and technology expertise to the table, but also a network-oriented entrepreneurial spirit. This fits in perfectly with the vision of LabCampus as a hub that supports the concept of new work, exchange, and collaboration.

“We can see from Exotec’s decision that Munich Airport is no longer just a popular take-off point for airlines and travellers,” said Nathalie Leroy, Chief Financial Officer and Director of Infrastructure, Munich Airport. “LabCampus offers ideal conditions for companies that are looking to achieve new goals. Great innovations are created where great ideas come together – this is what LabCampus stands for. We are delighted to welcome a global company in Exotec.”

As an innovation hub, LabCampus connects international corporations, hidden champions, and scaleups with research institutions and young talents to promote knowledge and technology transfer.

“Innovative technology needs a vibrant ecosystem of knowledge, talent, and network partners,” said Markus Schlotter, Managing Director for Central Europe, Exotec. “At LabCampus, we have found a location with the ideal conditions to get off to a flying start with innovative products from Exotec. Together, we not only want to work on our robotic systems here, but also to create creative and innovative synergies.”

FTE Aviation & Robotics Summit to take place in Pittsburgh, 14-16 May 2024

Learn more about robotics at the FTE Aviation & Robotics Summit, taking place in Pittsburgh – the “Robotics Capital of the World” – on 14-16 May 2024.

The FTE Aviation & Robotics Summit 2024 will bring together aviation and robotics industry professionals with the primary goal of solving aviation business and operational challenges with robotics solutions. The three-day interdisciplinary series of conference sessions, workshops, robotics innovation tours, and networking opportunities will take place across the city of Pittsburgh.
