McCarran International Airport is once again the host of the upcoming FTE Global 2021 show, taking place in Las Vegas on 7-9 December. Ahead of the event, Gerard Hughes, Assistant Director, Information Systems, Clark County Department of Aviation, provided FTE with an update on some of the new systems put in place in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, how the airport is evolving security technologies through the TSA Innovation Checkpoint, and its plans to be more data-driven to better understand passenger behaviour. “We’re happy to be hosting FTE Global once again this December and we’re looking forward to welcoming attendees back to Las Vegas,” Hughes says. “We continue to be a global leader in terms of technology, and we want to show that off.”
