Low-cost carrier flydubai has opened its new Business Lounge in Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport, adding to its existing premium offer. The opening of the new lounge follows the launch of a Business Class cabin in October 2013.
The two-storey lounge includes free Wi-Fi, widescreen televisions screening live news channels, daily newspapers and magazines, and a wide selection of food and drinks.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO at flydubai, said: “We are pleased to announce the opening of the first flydubai Business Lounge, which offers passengers greater comfort and convenience during their journey. Since the launch of Business Class in October 2013, the service is now available on flights to 52 of our destinations, many of which previously did not offer such a service.”
The airline’s Business Class passengers can also make use of a number of other premium services on the ground. For example, they can make use of priority check-in, and a dedicated Business Team is on-hand to offer personal assistance 24/7.
