SilkAir passengers who make a booking through the carrier’s website and supply a Gmail email address can now access a variety of information via Google Now.
Among the information they will have access to is live traffic information, flight status and gate updates, and destination guides including weather forecasts. Travellers need to have the Google Search App installed on their device in order to access the information.
SilkAir’s integration with Google Now follows a similar initiative by parent company Singapore Airlines in December 2013.
