ANA Aeroportos de Portugal has partnered with Vision-Box to install access control security checkpoint eGates in Terminal 1 at Lisbon Airport. The e-gates validate passenger access to the Departure Lounge.
The vb ® i-match check-point enables the automation of passenger control by validating their boarding pass, whatever the format used – paper or electronic (smartphone / PDA).
João Nunes, Director of Lisbon Airport, said: “This partnership allows ANA to offer the most advanced technologies in the implementation of self-service solutions for passengers in complete alignment with the IATA Fast Travel programme, which is also supported by ACI.”

This project also demonstrates the suitability of our border control eGates, in production since 2006, for other processes within the airport such as access control, security checkpoints and boarding.”
