The leisure carrier has just a matter of weeks to decide which connectivity solution to invest in – a decision that could have a major impact on future operations.
Gogo has confirmed that it has received regulatory approval from the FCC to operate its 2Ku in-flight connectivity solution on 1,000 aircraft.
Virgin America has become the first airline to offer Gogo’s ATG-4 Wi-Fi service across its entire fleet of 53 Airbus A320 Family aircraft.
Verizon Wireless has declared 26 November – the day before Thanksgiving – “Connection Day” and will offer free onboard Wi-Fi to air travellers.
