Southwest – a Corporate Partner of the FTE Digital, Innovation & Startup Hub – and Archer Aviation have signed an MoU to develop plans for electric air taxi networks utilising eVTOL aircraft at California airports.
Eve Air Mobility has extended its partnership with Widerøe Zero, an initiative by Widerøe focused on sustainable aviation with the mission to “revolutionise the industry and create a greener future for air travel”.
United Airlines and Eve Air Mobility have announced plans to bring Urban Air Mobility (UAM) to San Francisco with electric commuter flights. They are also working to identify the future route network for UAM.

Ferrovial Airports and Eve Air Mobility, a developer of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft and Urban ATM software, have partnered to develop the safe and reliable operation of vertiports and eVTOLs.
Groupe ADP and Skyports have unveiled the passenger terminal testbed for future electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) at Pontoise-Cormeilles airfield in Paris.
As part of the arrangement, the companies will work together to integrate a Joby-operated service into Delta’s customer-facing channels.
Aeroporti di Roma, Volocopter and UrbanV, have conducted the first crewed eVTOL public test flight in Italy and unveiled the country’s first vertiport.
The new vertiport hub, which will be located at a private terminal at São Paulo International Airport, is expected to open at the end of 2023.
