American Airlines has announced an agreement with Boom Supersonic to purchase up to 20 Overture aircraft, with an option for an additional 40.
United has signed agreement to purchase 15 of Boom’s Overture airliners, which are expected to halve travel times and run on 100% sustainable aviation fuel.
Virgin Galactic has unveiled the initial design of its supersonic jet, which will have capacity for 9 to 19 people and will travel at speeds of Mach 3.
Ctrip has confirmed that it has made a strategic investment in Boom Supersonic, which is leading the charge to bring supersonic commercial air travel back into the mainstream.
