The system is equipped with a biometric photo-matching technology that compares a scan of government-issued identification with a photo of the passenger for verification.
The airline is trialling a range of new technologies at San José Mineta International Airport, including new iPad check-in and bag-drop system.
Riga Airport has introduced four new self-service baggage drop-off points as part of its focus on state-of-the-art automated solutions in passenger service.
