British Airways has unveiled its new ’Forty Winks’ nap lounge, featuring power nap sleep pods, currently available at its First Lounge at London Heathrow.
Alaska Airlines has shared plans for a new lounge at San Francisco International Airport’s Terminal 2, and the rollout of a new two-tier Lounge membership.
Among some of the main features of the revamped lounge are a coffee bar, a library, dedicated office space, as well as a new menu and food ordering system.
Select domestic and regional Air New Zealand lounges have reopened, with new measures introduced in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic.

The new lounge will provide passengers with a unique local experience, while offering free Wi-Fi, charging points and various facilities and services.
Expected to open in 2020, the lounge forms part of the airline’s commitment to invest in new and existing lounges with guests’ comfort in mind.

United customers travelling in United Polaris business class will now be able to relax and dine before their flight in the new United Polaris lounge at LAX.
The new lounge is a response to the high demand for the two existing Business lounges in Terminal 1A Schengen area, due to the increase in passenger numbers.
The lounge will be split into three main zones: a business area with workstations, a quiet lounge and rest area with a view of the runway, and a dining area.
The enhanced lounges feature various privacy options, market hall-style food areas, elegant Swiss-made furniture and clear SWISS design lines.
Brussels Airlines has teamed up with a number of brands – including Lexus, Miele, Grohe, Corian and Dyson – to introduce new experiences in the lounge.
Etihad Airways and Emirates are trialling SkyLights’ Bravo Evo headset, while travellers visiting Aviapartner’s lounge at Fiumicino Airport can use Inflight VR’s own solution.
