Hamad International Airport, Southwest Airlines, Vantage Airport Group, Japan Airlines, Turkish Airlines and Geneva Airport were among the attendees.
Using BA’s onboard Wi-Fi, startups had the opportunity to pitch their ideas to judges on a flight between San Francisco and London Heathrow.
The 10 startup competition finalists are Airfree, Bagtrax, Bonflite, Doerz, MyDutyFree, NYWHR, Panzly, PM First, Pruvo and Seevoov.
The startups have been invited to a 16-week accelerator programme to field test and develop their concepts in a real-world airport environment.
