The Cabin Integration Symposium will be delivered in partnership by FTE and Runway Girl Network, and will take place on day one of FTE Global 2014, 24-26 September, Las Vegas.

The impressive line-up for the Cabin Integration Symposium – which will take place at FTE Global 2014, 24-26 September – has been announced and includes senior speakers from some of the industry’s biggest airlines, OEMs, interiors specialists and IFE&C suppliers. The symposium will be led by Mary Kirby, Founder & Editor of Runway Girl Network, and will include participants from Airbus, Zodiac Aerospace, Panasonic Avionics, Emirates, Acro, Lumexis, Thales/Live TV, Honeywell, Gogo, Global Eagle Entertainment and OnAir.

This intense, two-part symposium will cut through the marketing jargon and news hype to discover exactly how airframers, airlines, interiors firms, IFE specialists and connectivity players are exploring ways to more efficiently work together and drive innovation in the cabin. Attendees will walk away from this event assured that they are up-to-speed on where the market stands, how it is evolving, and what they need to consider as they endeavour to create a future travel experience for passengers onboard, while driving operational benefits for airlines.

Interiors Panel

This session will address both the successes and challenges of the latest IFE/seat programmes, and ask what lessons are being learned as industry relationships and products evolve to accommodate new levels of integration (which requires new levels of IP sharing). We’ll look at how stakeholders are working to try and avoid severe bottlenecks in the interiors/IFE space, and whether ‘complete cabin’ solutions might ultimately prove attractive to airlines, especially as further aircraft production ramp ups are planned.
