Participate in deep-dive interactive workshops hosted at the world-famous Carnegie Mellon University |
Play an active role in workshops hosted at the renowned Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), a global leader in robotics and computer science research and education. CMU provides the perfect venue for our Day 2 and Day 3 panel sessions and workshops, which will bring together airlines, airports, OEMs, government agencies, vendors, roboticists and entrepreneurs, to explore how robotics and AI technology can help solve some of the biggest aviation industry challenges. The Kickoff Event on 14 May will take place at Pittsburgh’s Heinz History Center, featuring six floors of interactive exhibitions, including the museum’s flagship exhibit, Pittsburgh: A Tradition of Innovation. From the rise of the steel, glass and steamboat industries to modern advances in medicine, robotics and technology, the exhibit unravels the process and products of innovators that have shaped the region’s unique history. As well as providing an incredible networking opportunity, the Kickoff Event will feature an inspiring keynote by Alaska Airlines, which will help to light the fuse of innovation that will permeate the three-day Summit.
The following evening Pittsburgh International Airport will host attendees at the Cinderlands Warehouse; a unique craft brewery in Pittsburgh’s famous Strip District. The Happy Hour will provide a perfect opportunity to relax and exchange learnings, in a vibrant environment after a busy day of panels at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) and robotics innovation tours across Pittsburgh.
