SimpliFlying announced as Headline Partner for FTE World Innovation Summit hosted by Pittsburgh International Airport

Future Travel Experience (FTE) is proud to announce SimpliFlying as the Headline Partner for the upcoming FTE World Innovation Summit, hosted by Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) on 13-15 May. As a global leader in aviation strategy and sustainability, SimpliFlying will play a key role in shaping discussions around the future of sustainable air travel as part of the event’s Energy & Sustainability track – one of its three core themes alongside Advanced Technology and Future Airports.

Shashank Nigam, CEO, SimpliFlying: “As Headline Partner for the FTE World Innovation Summit, we look forward to driving impactful discussions and showcasing tangible solutions that will lead to a greener future for air travel.”

Building on the successful collaboration between Future Travel Experience (FTE) and Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) for the Aviation & Robotics Summit in 2023 and 2024, the FTE World Innovation Summit – free for airlines and airports to attend – will bring together over 400 air transport industry innovators for a three-day interdisciplinary series of conference sessions, interactive workshops, innovation tours, and networking opportunities, all taking place in Pittsburgh. Energy & Sustainability will be a major focus, tackling key topics such as approaches to scaling the use of SAF, electric and  hydrogen across air transport, airport decarbonisation strategies and more.

As part of the partnership, SimpliFlying will bring its extensive expertise in aviation sustainability to the FTE World Innovation Summit, driving high-level discussions on decarbonization strategies, regulatory challenges, and the future of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF), electrification, and hydrogen-powered flight. Through years of in-depth research and industry collaboration, SimpliFlying has examined the most innovative sustainability efforts in aviation, culminating in their acclaimed book, Sustainability in the Air: Innovators Transforming Aviation for a Greener Future. The book explores groundbreaking case studies from airlines, airports, and technology leaders who are actively shaping a more sustainable industry – insights that will be central to the conversations at the summit.

“The aviation industry is at a pivotal moment where sustainability is not just a choice but a necessity. As Headline Partner for the FTE World Innovation Summit, we look forward to driving impactful discussions and showcasing tangible solutions that will lead to a greener future for air travel,” said Shashank Nigam, CEO of SimpliFlying.
