A key new concept is ‘from anywhere to anywhere’, which envisions a totally integrated baggage system with common use bag drops.
Meanwhile, Allen discussed current progress with Journey Robotics’ baggage unloading product and the development timeline, which includes testing with Pittsburgh International Airport’s XBridge. Indeed, it is planned that the product will be debuted at the FTE World Innovation Summit, hosted by PIT on 13-15 May 2025.
