As part of Future Travel Experience’s ongoing commitment to fostering growth and innovation within the industry, we are expanding and relaunching our successful FTE World Airport Retailing Working Group into the FTE World Ancillary & Retailing Working Group. This evolution reflects our broadened focus and commitment to inclusivity and collaboration across the sector.
Why the change?
We are now extending our platform to all relevant industry stakeholders, specifically the airline community, because we believe that by working collaboratively and leveraging technology, innovative approaches, and new business models, we can create a significantly larger revenue pie for everyone to share across the end-to-end passenger journey.
Future Travel Experience has always been strong with airlines in the commercial realm thanks to our annual FTE Ancillary & Retailing show in Dublin. To provide more inspiration to airport commercial leaders, we started a Working Group for them last year. Now, it’s time to unite these communities to deliver a more holistic platform for air transport’s commercial leaders to advance practices.
The existing group already has over 500 active members which includes airport operators, concessionaires, consultancies, brands, tech companies, and airlines, but it’s a time for new approaches that encompass a deeper sharing of ideas and learnings by the industry on the best ways forward. Our collaborative efforts on neutral ground for all come to life through our members-only meetings, held both online and in-person at various locations worldwide.
Our recent gathering in Dublin hosted by our inaugural Strategic Partner, Stripe, was a tremendous success, featuring incredibly productive discussions, insights on the future and valuable knowledge sharing around the theme of ‘Understanding & planning for the passenger evolutions of tomorrow – GI Generation to Gen Alpha’.
