Fiji Airways Chief Transformation Officer discusses key CX initiatives from resort check-in to huge investment in fleet and onboard product


Fiji Airways was recently recognised as a ‘Five Star Major Airline’ by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) in its prestigious APEX Official Airline Ratings for the second consecutive year. Future Travel Experience caught up with Rowan Chalmers, Chief Transformation Officer, Fiji Airways, at FTE APEX Asia Expo 2023. In this video interview, he shares some of the key passenger experience initiatives the airline is implementing as it strives to deliver “comfort, safety and exceptional service”. “One initiative near and dear to my heart is enabling resort check-in at a number of hotels in Fiji,” Chalmers explains. “This enables travellers to check-out of their hotel and check-in for their flight, while we take care of their luggage. We’ve also made a huge investment in our fleet and our onboard product.”
