Following her participation at the recent co-located FTE EMEA and FTE Ancillary & Retailing events, Future Travel Experience caught up with Elisabeth Sailer, Chief Commercial Officer, Munich Airport NJ LLC. In this video interview, she shares details about the commercial programme in the state-of-the-art new Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport, as well as the digital ‘Journey of Surprises’ concept. “Our goal – and that of our partner the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey – was really to showcase the state of New Jersey in the new terminal and we have developed our commercial vision, the ‘Journey of Surprises’, to make that happen,” Sailer explains. “We wanted to bring a fun and surprising element to our programme with four main drivers – ‘Firsts’, ‘Variety’, ‘Your Way’, and ‘Community’.”
