It is with profound sadness that we report the passing of Tom Mano, Vice President, Products & Services Planning, All Nippon Airways, and a hugely respected and popular figure in our industry.
Tom passed away on 23 November after a sudden illness. Tom touched countless lives around the world, and will be greatly missed by his beloved family, his friends and colleagues.
A true global citizen, Tom enjoyed a career in aviation spanning more than 30 years, holding many leadership and senior roles at ANA All Nippon Airways and Star Alliance. Recently, he was a dear friend and colleague of the Future Travel Experience team as a member of the FTE APEX Asia Expo Advisory Board, and was also due to take up an important role at the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) in the near future.
All who met Tom are grateful to have known him. He was one-of-a-kind.
