The shortlists for the Future Travel Experience Asia Awards 2019 have been revealed and feature a total of 11 airlines and airports from across Asia. The awards recognise the most customer-centric initiatives from the last 12 months and the winners will be revealed during an awards ceremony on Tuesday 12 November at the free-to-attend FTE-APEX Asia EXPO 2019 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore. A Gold, Silver and Bronze award will be presented in each category.

- Japan Airlines – Improving passenger comfort with the new A350-900 cabin interiors
- Qatar Airways – Mobility solutions to enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency
- Singapore Airlines – Enhancing wellbeing on ultra-long-haul flights
- SriLankan Airlines – Wearable tech and smart accessories to improve the passenger experience

- Changi Airport Group – Jewel Changi Airport
- Dubai Airports – Launch of TaxiDXB service
- Hamad International Airport – Smart Airport Programme, Phase 2
- Hong Kong International Airport – IoT Augmented Airfield Service System (AS2)
- Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru – Digi Yatra biometrics programme rollout
