The most customer-focused airlines and airports in Asia and Oceania were recognised for their passenger experience leadership at the Future Travel Experience Asia Awards 2016 ceremony, which was held at Future Travel Experience Asia EXPO 2016 at the iconic Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
A total of 14 full service carriers, low-cost airlines and international airports were presented with awards across five regional categories: Southeast Asia, North & East Asia, West Asia, Central & South Asia and Oceania.

Best Full Service Airline: Singapore Airlines
Lu Chung Yuan, Divisional Vice President Customer Service, Singapore Airlines was presented with the award by Joe Leader, CEO, Airline Passenger Experience Association.
Best Low Cost Airline: Scoot
Pamela Phua, Head of Communications & Guest Relations, Scoot received the award from Joe Leader, CEO, Airline Passenger Experience Association.
Best Airport: Singapore Changi Airport
Tan Lye Teck, Executive Vice President, Airport Management, Changi Airport Group was presented with the award by Joe Leader, CEO, Airline Passenger Experience Association.

Best Full Service Airline: Cathay Pacific Airways
Oliver Haas, UX & Product Designer Innovation Centre, Cathay Pacific Airways was presented with the award by Katie Murphy, Senior Exhibition Director, Aircraft Interiors Expo.
Best Low Cost Airline: HK Express
Catus Wong, Brand Supervisor, HK Express received the award from Katie Murphy, Senior Exhibition Director, Aircraft Interiors Expo.
Best Airport: Incheon International Airport
Hunseok Kang, Deputy Director of Passenger Information, Incheon International Airport was presented with the award by Katie Murphy, Senior Exhibition Director, Aircraft Interiors Expo.

Best Full Service Airline: Qatar Airways
Rossen Dimitrov, Senior Vice President Customer Experience, Qatar Airways was joined by members of the airline’s cabin crew to collect the award from Max Coppin, Partner Development Manager, Google.
Best Low Cost Airline: flydubai
Daniel Kerrison, Vice President – Inflight Product, flydubai received the award from Max Coppin, Partner Development Manager, Google.
Best Airport: Hamad International Airport
