Premium Economy customers will also be able to make use of the ‘Book the Cook’ service which allows them to pre-order their meals before travelling, as well as Champagne and curated wines, and a collector’s edition amenity kit.
Singapore Airlines Executive Vice President Commercial Mak Swee Wah said: “Many of our customers have been asking for a Premium Economy offering and we are confident that what we are delivering will exceed their expectations. The new cabin product is the culmination of two years of work, which included extensive research and focus group studies involving customers and our design partners.”
Singapore Airlines’ new Premium Economy product also includes a number of on the ground benefits, including priority check-in and baggage handling, a 35kg baggage allowance, and 10% more miles for members of the KrisFlyer frequent flyer programme.
