Viewing demonstrations of the latest technologies and services relating to passenger and baggage processing is a key requirement to understanding the latest developments in this subject area, which is why Future Travel Experience Asia will also have a large vendor exhibition showcasing the latest systems and components on the market.
In the first part of our Exhibition Preview, we round-up what you can expect to see from Access IS, Boon Edam, DESKO, Sissit and Custom.
Boon Edam
The Airport Swinglane will be presented by Royal Boon Edam International B.V. in Kuala Lumpur. The self-boarding security gate allows for a quicker boarding process, while it also allows for airport staff to be freed-up to concentrate on other passenger-oriented tasks.
As well as being a leading manufacturer of security access solutions, Boon Edam’s airport-specific portfolio also includes high capacity revolving doors.
DESKO
The DESKO PENTA Scanner will be showcased at Future Travel Experience Asia 2012. The single device boasts five applications, providing an all-in-one check-in and boarding gate reader.
The device is able to read the latest technologies, including bar codes, NFC and RFID. Also being highlighted will be the automated travel document and ID verification storage software DocCheck, which offers an extension to the PENTA Scanner.
Sissit
At FTE Asia 2012, Sissit will be showcasing a number of solutions, including TruMobile SMS Boarding and the QikBoard portable boarding kiosk, while also unveiling the latest development release of the extensive Boarding Management platform.
Sissit provides airlines with a range of mobile ticketing, self-service and automation technologies to enhance the check-in and boarding processes.
Custom
Custom Engineering will exhibit its latest industry solutions at FTE Asia in Kuala Lumpur. The company develops and manufactures mechatronic solutions such as ATMs and Kiosk Printers, Ticketing Printers for Ticket Vending Machines, and Airport and Railway Ticketing solutions.
