Schiphol Group – a Corporate Partner of the FTE Digital, Innovation & Startup Hub and a Partner of the FTE World Ancillary & Retailing Working Group – has welcomed the opening of Wingstop in Schiphol Plaza. It is the first Dutch location for Wingstop – a social media phenomenon that specialises in chicken wings in bold, distinctive flavours.
“We are incredibly proud and happy that Wingstop is opening its very first Dutch location at Schiphol Plaza,” said Arthur Reijnhart, Chief Commercial Officer, Royal Schiphol Group. “It’s a distinctive and popular concept that perfectly aligns with our ambition to offer surprising and high-quality food concepts to a broad audience. With the arrival of Wingstop, we’re bringing a new international top brand to Schiphol. I believe people will be amazed at how well Wingstop will resonate with young travellers.”
Wingstop’s arrival in the Netherlands was made possible in collaboration with hospitality partner Vermaat Group, which is responsible for operating leading food concepts at Schiphol and other prominent locations both domestically and internationally.
“The moment has finally arrived: Dutch flavour fans can now fully enjoy Wingstop,” said Rob Peters, Managing Director, Vermaat Netherlands. “As the official brand partner of Wingstop in the Netherlands, we’ve been looking forward to the opening of the very first Wingstop restaurant at Schiphol Plaza. Wingstop is one of the innovative partnerships we are entering into with the Vermaat Group to appeal to the wide audience at the airport.”
