Jacksonville International Airport implements Xovis AERO to reduce wait times and “deliver world-class CX”

Jacksonville International Airport has implemented Xovis’ fully managed passenger flow management service AERO to help reduce wait times, as part of its commitment to deliver world-class terminal experiences.

Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) has implemented Xovis’ fully managed passenger flow management service AERO to help reduce wait times and enhance the passenger experience at its terminal. AERO, Xovis’ sensor-based passenger flow analytics solution, has been deployed at security checkpoints at JAX, reflecting the airport’s commitment to delivering world-class terminal experiences to passengers and employees.

“Tourists and business travellers continue to look to Jacksonville as a destination and a strategic gateway to Florida and the south-east region,” said Greg Willis, spokesperson for Jacksonville Aviation Authority, the terminal operator. “With accurate, real-time data from Xovis, we can continue to deliver top-notch service to the growing number of passengers that pass through our terminal.”

Florian Eggenschwiler, Chief Product Officer, Xovis, commented: “AERO is an ideal solution for airports that want to relieve data management pressure, increase passenger throughput and optimise terminal efficiency. Working with JAX to achieve all three objectives, and more, is what keeps us motivated. North America remains an important market for Xovis, and the interest we see from airports in different regions, including the south-east US, is encouraging.”
